LITE: Leading Innovation for Transgender Women's Health and Empowerment

The purpose of this study is to learn about the health and wellbeing of transgender women and trans feminine people in the eastern and southern US. There are six participating cities and an online cohort. Eligible participants will check in every 3 months for 2 years, take surveys, and receive HIV and STI testing.


Johns Hopkins University, Fenway Health, Callen-Lorde, Whitman-Walker Health, Emory University, University of Miami, and online


Eligibility:

  • 18 years or older

  • Assigned male at birth and identifying on the trans feminine spectrum (MTF, transgender woman, non binary, etc).

  • Living in one of the eligible locations

  • Speak English and/or Spanish
